Through her work in higher education, public speaking, and applied coaching, she translates complex research on exercise physiology, aging, and metabolic health into practical strategies that individuals and professionals can actually use.

Recognized as a Top Trainer in Canada, Dr. Woods bridges the worlds of academia and real-world practice—teaching future professionals while also working directly with clients and organizations to improve strength, resilience, and long-term health outcomes.

The Elevate HER Wellness Series is a newly launched collection of evidence-informed wellness resources created specifically for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. We offer local in person, one-day Intensives, an 8-week online course, and multiple downloadable resources to complement it all.

This series was designed to address the realities of midlife—when hormones shift, recovery changes, stress increases, and strategies that once worked no longer deliver the same results.

Rather than offering quick fixes or one-dimensional solutions, the Elevate HER Wellness Series takes a comprehensive approach to midlife health. Each resource focuses on a core pillar of wellbeing—including exercise, nutrition, hormones, self-care, and mental wellbeing—while fitting seamlessly into a larger, integrated framework.

The series is practical, realistic, and grounded in science. It is built to help women understand what is happening in their bodies, why they may be experiencing new challenges, and how to respond in a way that supports long-term health and vitality.
